Cruz General looking for back to back Alliance Championships

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter Make no mistake forward Cruz General is hungry to celebrate another Alliance Cup championship win. Cruz was able to celebrate that win last spring as a member of the Brantford Minor Pee-Wee squad. He drew praise from coach Steve Kersey following what was a 4-1 Game 7 Alliance Pee Wee Championship Cup win against Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs. “It would be pretty exciting,” General said about winning another Alliance Cup. “It would be really cool.” General, who skated once a week over the summer believes that there isn’t a big difference in the overall jump from minor to major Pee-Wee. “We’ve had three or four skates,” General said. “Maybe a little faster and a little bigger.” In terms of personal goals General, who prides himself on being…
