Developing passion for Bisons football By Neil Becker Sports Writer BRANTFORD- The Brantford Bisons Atoms Tier 2 squad may have suffered a loss but there was still excitement on the field for players Kaleb Powless and teammates Carson Jamieson and Quentin Van Every. Despite beginning the month of September with a tough 57-7 loss at the Bisons Alumni Field against Tier 1 Guelph, all three of those aspiring players along with their teammates were beaming with excitement afterwards. Following the game, which saw Powless convert for the extra point, Bisons coach Jacobus Wilson had some high praise for these three players. “Quentin (Van Every) is aggressive, fast and a leader,” Wilson said.
