Longboat and Johnson pumped about football season

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter It may be their final season with the Blue Devils’ football team but both McKinnon Park players Colton Longboat and Richard Johnson are pushing for another win. The two played a significant role in helping the Blue Devils bring home their third out of four Haldimand Norfolk boys football championships last year. The two showed their excitement for another win during a recent pre-season practice l. “I’m pretty excited about it,” Longboat said. “I’ve been working out and playing with the Hamilton Jr. Varsity Tiger Cats which have really helped me improve.” Longboat, who last year was named lineman of the year is entering Grade 13, or as he termed it his victory lap and plans in the future on playing some university football. “Colton…
