Sault selected in draft by Steelhawks

By Neil Becker Sports Writer For the first time in six seasons Cameron Sault won’t be wearing Brantford Blast colours. With the Brantford Blast not icing a team this season Sault, who has dressed in 130 regular season games over that time, has found a new home this winter with the Hamilton Steelhawks who successfully selected him second overall in the dispersal draft featuring last year’s Brantford players. “The Brantford fans were by far the best in the league,” Sault said. “I’m going to miss playing in front of them, family and friends every Friday night.” It didn’t take long for Sault to come up with a highlight during his tenure with the Blast as he mentioned, “Winning back to back Ontario Sr. AAA Championships in 2012-2013 and 2013-14.” Sault,…
