Giving maximum effort at Six Nations school cross country By Neil Becker Sports Reporter Chyann Hill soaked in every moment of her final Six Nations school cross country competition. Wearing her trademark smile this OMSK Grade 8 student, who shows endless enthusiasm no matter what sport she plays, waved to her family before doing a cartwheel moments before crossing the Chiefs wood Park finish line taking the Grade 8 girl’s gold medal. “It was fun and it’s good exercise,” Hill said. “It’s fun and a little bit competitive.” She said her winning strategy meant “keeping pace and not going to fast at the very beginning.” She plans on hanging the gold medal in her room.
