Stonetown undefeated in Redmen co-ed 3 pitch tourney

Team Stonetown were all smiles after dominating by going undefeated and earning that right to hoist the 17th annual Ohsweken Redmen Co-ed 3 pitch tournament trophy. By Neil Becker Sports Writer There was no slowing down team Stonetown who took the 17th annual Ohsweken Redmen’s Co-ed 3 pitch tournament championship this past weekend. Coming through with clutch hits, and defensive plays Stonetown took the championship in a 7-1 win against 69 Corners. “It’s all about having fun,” Stonetown player Stu Johnson, who also played for the Redmen ball team, said. “There was some good ball being played all weekend.” Riding that momentum of four straight wins Stonetown, took off with four first inning runs starting with Krissy Vanevery’s first inning RBI single.
