Brantford police search for armed suspects

Armed robbery.

BRANTFORD-City police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store here Saturday, October 6 at about 6:20 a.m. Police said the Maple Convenience store at 373 Colborne Street, Brantford, was robbed by an armed suspect after a struggle with the clerk that resulted in the clerk sustaining minor injuries. The armed man described as a heavy-set, short white male, wearing a grey zip-up hoodie with hood up (hoodie has black stitching on the seams and a kangaroo pouch), baggy grey jogging pants, grey baseball cap with white lettering, grey shoes and he had black gloves on, received an undisclosed amount of cash.
