Charges dropped in James Hill death

BRANTFORD- Charges have been dropped against three people charged with accessory to murder in the death of Douglas James Hill 48. at the end of preliminary hearings recently. Hill went missing June 24, 2017. His body was found on Aug., 17, 2017 on the Oneida Nation of the Thames near London. On July 12, 2017, a Six Nations teenager, who can’t be named, (she was 17 at the time), was charged with second-degree murder in Hill’s death. Police later charged Holly Martin, 36, Nicholas Joel Shipman, 35, and Lori Anne Staats, 25 with being an accessory to murder after the fact. Police statements said the charges were in relation to helping the teen escape detection. ”On Oct. 4, the charges against Martin, Staats and Shipman were dismissed in Ontario Court….
