Darcy Powless taking over Snipers Coaching/GM duties

By Neil Becker Sports Writer It was an opportunity that Darcy Powless wasn’t about to pass up. With Six Nations Snipers Coach Stew Monture stepping down, Powless wasn’t about to refuse when given the chance to take over the coaching and General Manger duties. “I’m excited at the new opportunity,” Powless said. “The league reached out to me to see if I’d be interested. I want to build a fast-smart team and have a good mix of new guys and established veterans.” Powless is inheriting a Snipers team coming off a 5-9 regular season and has high expectations for this coming year. “With the skill and talent we have around here I’m looking forward to directing them towards the championship for this season and in the future.” Powless also added,…
