By Neil Becker Sports Reporter Rochester Knighthawks owner and general manager Curt Styres called it a ‘huge honour’ to be named Team Iroquois General Manager for the upcoming 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. “It’s a huge honour to be part of the process of putting together a world team,” Styres said. “Just to be part of the history of the team is pretty incredible.” Styres, who will be leading the four-time silver medalist into next year’s competition taking place in Langley B.C. has an impressive resume which includes seeing his Knighthawks team advance to playoffs in six of his eight years as GM while making history in winning three straight (2012-’14) NLL championships.
