Hawks consecutive games points streak snapped

By Neil Becker Sports Writer No doubt it was quite a historic run for the Hagersville Hawks who recently had a nine game point streak snapped. Starting on October 6th with a 5-1 win against the Dunnville Mudcats, Hagersville has captured the imagination of their fans and gone on to register at least a point in nine straight games in posting eight wins and a tie before that streak came to an end the day before Remembrance Day when the visiting Hamilton Huskies Jr. Blues posted a 5-2 victory. “This has impacted everyone on our team knowing what we’re capable of,” Hawks assistant captain Tycie Cowan said. “It makes us practice harder and it makes us want to do better as an organization and individual.” Hagersville, who came into Saturday…
