Blues promote Craig Berube as interim bench boss

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter Following weeks of speculation, the underachieving St. Louis Blues have pulled the trigger on a coaching change. Shortly after a shutout loss against the Los Angeles Kings, it became official when Blues general manager Doug Armstrong announced that Mike Yeo is being replaced by Craig Berube. Berube, who takes over a Blues team who have been shut out three times in their past four games and sport a 7-9-3 record worked as an assistant coach under Yeo since the summer of 2017. This 52-year-old, who played over 1,000 games in his NHL career brings lots of head coaching experience including coaching at one time the Blues AHL team the Chicago Wolves.
