Late Start to National Lacrosse League Season

By Justin Lethbridge Writer After months of uncertainty the Nation Lacrosse League and the Professional Lacrosse Players Association have finally come to terms on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The new five-year CBA was agreed upon by the two parties on Saturday after the majority of PLPA members voted to ratify the deal. While details of the new deal have yet to be released the PLPA President Peter Schmitz said the new deal benefits the players. “This new agreement sets the players in a great position for success as partners in a league and a sport whose best days are ahead.” Said Schmitz.
