Blue Devils’ Gayton-Laing creating magic at 2019 Sabres shootout

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter It’s no secret to those who know him that McKinnon Park Blue Devils’ Trevor Gayton-Laing has a strong passion for basketball. Currently in his final year with the Senior Blue Devils, Gayton- Laing, was all business once he stepped on the court at Simcoe Composite School where he helped his team finish fourth in the recently played 2019 Sabres Shootout tournament. “I met my closest friends playing basketball,” Gayton-Laing said.  The Blue Devils regular season has seen them go 4-0 in league games. “We’re running really well. It’s always exciting to play and everyone’s been giving the effort,” he said.
