McKinnon Parks’ Jayden John dominates in shootout tournament

By Neil Becker Sports Writer Simply put, McKinnon Park Jr. Blue Devils rookie Jayden John has that burning drive when it comes to competing in basketball. Showing he has game, this hulking grade 9 student made quite the impact as he scored many key baskets during the Simcoe Sabres Jr. Shootout tournament This tournament would see McKinnon Park finish in sixth. The Blue Devils hoped to kick off February with tournament gold; however, they didn’t get off to that desired start as they dropped the opener by a 46-39 decision against BCI.
