OPP ASSISTING SIX NATIONS POLICE SERVICE WITH INVESTIGATION

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – Members of the Haldimand County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Major Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Randy Gaynor, OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are assisting Six Nations Police Service with an attempted murder investigation.

On Saturday, January 12, 2019, shortly after 4:00 a.m., Six Nations Police Service members responded to a report of an injured male at a residential address on 6th Line Road. A male was located with injuries and was transported to hospital.

The isolated incident remains under investigation and members of the public are asked to contact Six Nations Police Service at 519-445-2811 or OPP at 1-888-310-1122 with information.
