Dezirae Powless-Frank discovering passion for gymnastics

By Neil Becker Sports Writer When Dezirae Powless-Frank was two years old, she began to discover that love for gymnastics. According to her mom, Dezirae liked to do splits and little rolls around the house which eventually led her to learn and grow passionate about the sport. Recently this eight year-old, who was competing in her very first competition, came away all smiles as she earned fifth overall in the 2019 WAG level 3-9 qualifier. Representing the Caledonia Grand River Gymmies, Powless-Frank, who is Level 2, competed with lots of friends and family in attendance at the Future Gymnastics in Mississauga.
