By Neil Becker Sports Writer It was a thrilling ride for the Six Nations Blackhawks. Competing to become this year’s LNHL Novice ‘A’ champions, Six Nations found their mojo as they won three straight games before suffering heartbreak with a 4-1 Novice ‘A’ championship loss against the Walpole Island Hawks. “We came out flat,” Six Nations coach Terry Martin said. “Some were caught in traffic before the game and what could go wrong did go wrong.” Coming into Championship Thursday with a win against the Akwesasne Wild (5-4) and two verses Garden River (4-3 and 1-0), under their belts they were primed to complete that mission of becoming the Novice ‘A’ champs.
