Carey Price sets Canadiens franchise history

By Neil Becker Sports Writer Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price was his typical humble self when talking about passing Jacques Plante in becoming the winning goalie in franchise history. Price hit 315 career wins after a 20 save performance at the Bell Centre against the Detroit Red Wings where the Canadiens took the game 3-1. Price told the media “I’m very proud obviously, first and foremost to be standing here today with this puck in my hand.” Price said. “I’m definitely thankful for all the help I’ve gotten along the way. There’s been ups and downs throughout this whole process, and I’ve played with a lot of great guys and have played on some excellent teams.” In 12 seasons with the Canadiens Price has put together a 315-221-67 all time…
