Six Nations Elected Council moving to take over education

Six Nations Elected Council is moving to take full control of education from kindergarten to its own high school. Six Nations posted to facebook Elected Chief Ava Hill, councillor Audrey Powless-Bomberry and consultant Phil Monture recently met with the Ontario Regional Director General Anne Scotton and discussed a Policy Proposal to enable Six Nations to take full control of the Life Long Learning Education System. Sources said the band representatives are telling government to settle Six Nations Global Solutions and Six Nations will fund education with the dollars. The Global Solution is the band council’s land claimsolution plan. The plan rolls all outstanding land rights into one settlement.
