Lady Snipers split regular season finale

By Neil Becker Sports Writer Six Nations Snipers’ Cloe VanEvery has a simple strategy when it comes to playoffs. “I just want to try my best,” she said after a 9-7 loss against the St. Catharines Shockwave. With playoffs on the horizon Six Nations finished up the Arena Lacrosse League regular season with a 9-3 win against the Whitby Steelhawks followed by a 9-7 loss verses their number one rivals the Shockwave. “This was our best game against them,” Van Every said in reference to that last game. “We have put in a lot of effort and it’s been fun.” Looking to make a statement against their playoff opponent on April 13th, the Snipers got a first period goal from Mackenzie Bomberry but still found themselves trailing to St. Catharines…
