Shockwave looking to cause some serious playoff damage

By Neil Becker Sports Writer Not surprisingly this is a highly confident St. Catharine’s Shockwave team heading into playoffs. A week after experiencing their first regular season loss, which was a 14-9 decision against the Six Nations Snipers, the Shockwave rebounded in fine form. Striving to enter post season on a high note, the Shockwave finished regular season play with a Friday night 17-12 win against the Toronto Monarchs followed two days later by a 15-7 victory against the Paris River Wolves which had them finish with a league best 13-1 record. “The confidence level we have is through the roof but we also know it’s a new season and we can’t go in (playoffs) over thinking it.
