Six Nations Midget LL #2 Intertown local league champs By Neil Becker Sports Writer There is nothing like ending your Six Nations minor hockey career celebrating an Intertown local league championship Soaking up the moment on GPA ice after backstopping the Six Nations Midget LL#2 team to a 3-1 championship win against the Six Nations #1 squad, veteran Doug Powless admitted to feeling relieved and of course happy with the accomplishment. “I was just feeling relieved because it was a good game, we both played,” Powless said. “I was just happy that we came out with the W.” This was the second time in his minor hockey career that Powless has triumphed in championship play against a Six Nations team and the feeling according to him is just as sweet….
