Habs Carey Price Molson Cup Award winner

By Neil Becker Sports Writer For the eighth time in his storied career Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price has won the Molson Cup. Based on three- star selections, Price, who this past season was named first star in nine games while getting the nod for second and third stars six times each, led the team’s Molson Cup standings with a combined 47 points. Price posted a 35-24-6 record with an impressive 2.49 GAA and .918 save percentage. He also had the team’s most three-star selections for the month of January, March and so far April. Overall Price finished 17 points ahead of forward Max Domi and 18 ahead of Tomas Tatar. Along with taking home another Molson Cup Price also had numerous accomplishments this season.
