Competing in the Six Nations Intermediate schools’ tournament this Grade 7 dynamic duel showed that they were not ready to surrender that doubles championship rein as they prevailed by a nail biting 21-19 score in the third and deciding game against Kay-lea Hill and Leeah Bomberry from OMSK. “We were mostly mad,” Skye said about being forced to a third and deciding game. “When we’re mad, we play better.” Hill went on to add, “We won our first game because they (opponents) didn’t show up.
