Rebels make opening season statement

Then everything went according to plan for the Six Nations Rebels who pulled off a decisive season opening victory. Looking to be in mid season form Six Nations made a loud statement as they gave the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena fans lots to cheer about by scoring early and often in what was a 21-6 win against the team who knocked them out of last years playoffs and the defending Founders Cup champions Elora Mohawks. “It’s a terrific feeling to get going,” Rebels forward Weylon Abrams, who had five goals and an eight- point night in the opener said.
