On a mission to recapture their 2015 Presidents Cup glory the Rivermen managed to win their season opener in convincing fashion in what was a 22-8 decision at the Gaylord Powless Arena (GPA) against the KW Velocity. “It’s always good to get back together and play at the GPA in the opener with a good community crowd turn out,” Rivermen veteran Wayne Hill said.
