Arrows fall short in exhibition action

By Neil Becker Sports Writer This was an exciting time for Six Nations Arrows lacrosse fans to come out and see the new talent. Heading into the new season with approximately 10 new players, fans got an up-close look during exhibition play which saw the Arrows drop a 9-3 decision at the ILA against the Toronto Beaches. “I think I played an alright game,” Six Nations Rebels leading scorer Marshall Powless who will be an Arrows call up this year said. “It’s kind of challenging to go from Junior B to Junior A because games are a lot faster.” Powless said the team did well against Toronto. “Our team really moved the ball around really good.” Toronto took an early 2-0 lead when the Arrows generated some quality chances including…
