Six Nations Family Fun Fair is packed

By Justin Lethbridge Writer It’s fitting that the Family Fun Fair was held on the eve of Community Awareness Weeks since awareness is one of the major problems facing Six Nations Social Services. “ This event brings awareness to the community about all the services they can access.” Manager of Six Nations Child and Family Services, Larry Longboat told the Turtle Island News. “That’s one of the main complaints we get is that people aren’t aware about what’s available to them. We have a lot of different services that are available for people. There’s a lot of different things that are offered and there’s services that programs in Brant provide that people from the Six Nations can access.” The event was held at the Social Services administration centre on Thursday…
