Sheriffs celebrate Street Hockey Tournament By Neil Becker Sports Writer The SNP Peewee Sheriffs high expectations turned golden at the Walter Gretzky Street Hockey tournament competition. The SNP Peewees turned that fun into a golden championship Sunday with a 14-4 win against the Burford Triggers and Bows Marksman team. With the prestigious Peewee ‘B’ championship on the line, Six Nations came into that June 2nd matchup at Lions Park full of confidence following what was a 7-6 overtime semi-finals win against the Brantford Devils. “The boys don’t want to lose,” SNP Peewee Sheriffs coach Derrick Anderson said right before they played that championship game.
