SN Economic Development warns HCCC lift cease and desist or “other remedies” to get Niagara Line back on track will be sought

The Six Nations Grand River Economic Development Corporation (SNGREDC) says it may seek other remedies to get workers back to work on the stalled Niagara Reinforcement Line (NRL). The NRL has been stopped for two months. CEO Matt Jamieson sent a letter to the HCCC asking the cease and desist order be lifted or other measures will have to be explored to get the work re-started. Jamieson said they remain hopeful they can continue meaningful dialogue with the HCCC to determine how to work together for the community. He said they want to allow A6N to return to work on the NRL while at the same time working with HCCC on future projects and how they can be included in the SNGRDC governance model.
