Arrows snap two game losing skid

By Neil Becker Sports Writer While it might only be June, there is still no underestimating the significance of this latest Six Nations Arrows win. Coming into play on a two-game losing skid, the Arrows couldn’t be stopped as they scored six in the first enroute to a 13-7 win at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena against the Kitchener/Waterloo Braves. “Yeah it was very important,” Arrows veteran Travis Longboat said. “But no there’s no pressure at all. We just got to go out on the floor and trust in our systems and just play the game.” Six Nations was looking to rebound after consecutive 8-6 road losses against first the Toronto Beaches followed by the Oakville Buzz.
