Judge Gives Brett Elliott Three Year Sentence

Arrested following a manhunt last year, Brett Elgin Elliot, 50, has been sentenced to three years in jail stemming from nearly 60 charges. Elliot gained notoriety after the discovery of drug paraphernalia on the playground of I.L. Thomas Elementary School. Concerned with alleged drug activity occurring at Elliot’s house, which sits near the school, a group of Six Nations community members along with Councillors Melba Thomas and Mark Hill gathered on his driveway on March 4th, 2018.
