By Neil Becker Sports Writer You can now call Six Nations Peewee Girls lacrosse goalie Daisy Skye a gold medal winner after Six Nations took the gold in a 7-0 win against Kingston on the weekend! Showing to be clutch this first-year player could hardly contain her excitement after the Six Nations Peewee Girls took the gold medal in the Chicks with Sticks weekend tournament. “I was really excited,” Skye said about the tournament held in Whitby. “I actually had low expectations. It’s good to see what we’re capable of.” Skye took MVP honours in the game but said it was all about team play. “Our defence played well. There was a lot of cheering and happiness.
