Curt Styres Brings his Passion for Lacrosse to Halifax

By Justin Lethbridge Writer Curt Styres is bringing professional lacrosse to Halifax this winter and along with it Styres is bringing the passion and traditions of the Haudenosaunee people. On July 11th Styres started a three-month long canoe trek from his backyard on the Six Nations to Halifax Harbour. Along the way he will be joined by family, friends, staff members, players and coaches as he stops at First Nations like Akwesasne and Kahnawake for traditional lacrosse games.
