Digging in at the plate, Martin showcased his strength as he connected for a towering homerun during a 5-4 Carney Elijah Memorial Tournament championship win for the Loonatics. With the Six Nations ball field bleachers packed, Martin made history Sunday, August 11th when he hit a blast which proved to be the winning run in leading the Loonatics to their first ever Carney Elijah Memorial Tournament victory. “This is always a good tournament,” Martin said. “There were lots of teams and it was very competitive.
