Hawks Tycie Cowan continues leading by example

By: Neil Becker Writer CALEDONIA – Hagersville Hawks forward Tycie Cowan has always been known as a heart and soul type of player. Now entering his third season, Cowan showed his dedication to the game by participating in a Thursday, August 22nd pre-season practice just four days after returning from Winnipeg where he helped the Six Nations Rebels earn silver at the Founders Cup competition. Cowan was still getting over an upper body lacrosse injury, but stepped up to lead by example. “Tycie brings it every night,” Hawks General Manager/Coach Todd DeMille said. “He is tenacious, leads by example and plays on special teams.
