Six Nations Bantam 3 coach Max Henry named Russell ‘Beef’ Smith coach of the year

By Neil Becker Sports Writer SIX NATIONS – Six Nations minor lacrosse’s coach of the year is, Bantam 3 lacrosse coach Max Henry who was recognized for his dedication to minor lacrosse at and his strong work ethic at the annual banquet Sunday. The Six Nations Minor Lacrosse banquet was held Sunday, August 25th at the Six Nations Community Hall. Six Nations Intermediate boys 1 coach Jay Smith couldn’t say enough about the year Henry had behind the bench, as Smith presented him with the Russell ‘Beef’ Smith coach of the year award. “I picked Max because he stepped up when no one else would,” Smith said. “He had a couple hiccups during the season but persevered and got them to improve and won silver at provincials.” Among numerous accomplishments…
