Jamieson once again 3-Pitch Co-Ed tournament champs

By Neil Becker Sports Writer OHSWEKEN – Jamieson Elementary School is on a streak. For a third straight year the school’s team has been crowned the Junior 3 Pitch Co-Ed school tourney champions! Competing on Tuesday September 10th for that three- peat, Jamieson went undefeated which was capped off by a thrilling 1-0 championship win against I.L. Thomas. “They all stayed positive,” Jamieson’s co-coach Whitney Nicholas said in reference to her team’s success. “They played together as a team and this is all about having fun.” Jamieson won every tournament game by one run including, of course, what was a nail-biting championship game, full of highlight reel defensive plays.
