Several players with Six Nations ties taken in NLL draft

By Neil Becker Sports Writer PHILADELPHIA – Three Six Nations players will be shining on the National Lacrosse League (NLL) stage after being drafted here Tuesday September 17th. Former Syracuse University standout Tyson Bomberry went first round, 10th overall to the New York Riptide, who later on also selected Six Nations Arrows forward Travis Longboat, third round 47th overall and Six Nations Rebels veteran Daylen Hill who was chosen fifth round 64th overall . Bomberry, who is 6’1” and 218 pounds, sports quite an impressive resume which includes among his achievements, winning a Founders Cup in 2012 with the Six Nations Rebels before making his mark in Junior ‘A’ with the Six Nations Arrows. Over a five-year span, Bomberry played a significant role in helping them celebrate Minto Cup victories…
