Six Nations students in grades four, five and six took part into a school volleyball tournament at the Dajoh Tuesday. After a series of hard fought games, the students from I. L. Thomas came out victorious, beating the students from Lloyd S. King in the finals. “It feels really happy to finally bring the championship to our school,” Peyten told Turtle Island News while celebrating with her friends. Teammate and friend Snowy added “This is my first time at another school and we usually didn’t win volleyball tournaments so it was fun to win.” I.L.
