Slow start for Toronto ends in pre-season stalemate

Oakville, ON – The Toronto Rock started slow, eventually took the lead, but gave up the tying goal in the final minute to the visiting Rochester Knighthawks resulting in a 14-14 pre-season tie on Saturday night at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, ON. “It’s good to face some adversity early and see how we respond,” said Rock captain Challen Rogers. “They were hungrier than we were to start the game, but once we settled in, things slowed down for us.
