Emotions flare at Minor League Hockey

By Josh Giles Sports Writer BRANTFORD, ONT- Teams came from as far away as Michigan to participate in the Wayne Gretzky Tournament with success coming from all sorts of teams including the Brantford 99ers Peewee A team. Playing, and winning all of their games, they completed their path to winning the tournament and adding another banner to the collection. Dean McIntosh is the head coach for the team and said, “I was impressed with how we moved the puck, and we just had some good passes that turned into good goals.” McIntosh has a lot of praise for his team and especially his goalie Riley Vyse saying that, “he played excellent all weekend.
