Atom Rep team having a very successful playoff

By Josh Giles Sports Writer Probably one of the brightest spots for Six Nations Minor Hockey this season has been the very successful Atom Rep team who has had strong playoffs, winning their first six games, and eliminating the Waterford Wildcats with a clean sweep. That strong start doesn’t mean the Atom team is in the clear according to Head Coach Travis Anderson, “Come playoffs everyone plays a little bit harder. Skates harder, checks harder. It makes it tougher to get lopsided games.” Their ability to play both sides of the puck has made them impressive. “We like to score goals, but in the last game we won 2-1 it showed that we can really play on the defensive side of the puck.
