Brantford has a secret

The undisputable smell of gasoline whiffing through the air. Add to it dead and rotting fish, a smelly muck with a sheen to it and you have the controversial petrochemical leak that has made its way from a portion of Brantford’s polluted Brownsfield property through a sewer system, into a creek and into the Grand River. And it started last week. But no one told the public. Residents that lived in the area and walked their dogs soon learned something was fishy in the Grand Monday when a woman’s dog took a drink and was immediately ill and dead fish could be spotted on the banks.
