Assumption dominates in BCSSAA Semi-Finals

By Josh Giles Sports Writer BRANTFORD-It was an impressive victory for the Assumption College School (ACS) Lions Boys Jr. Basketball team when they hosted the St. John Eagles in a very decisive win. With every shot that St. John’s made, Assumption would seemingly double the Eagles production with a strong first half score of 45-24 for the Lions. The second half was just as impressive with big stops on defence and great shots on offence, they won the game 75-47 in a great performance. After the game, Assumption Head Coach Steve Petrella said about the win, “They were right on ball. We talked about it for a week and a half and knew that we were going to play St. John’s. I couldn’t have asked for a better job executing.”…
