Hamilton Steelhawks celebrate Youngblood night

By Josh Giles Sports Writer HAMILTON- It was Youngblood night at the Dave Andreychuk Arena where the Hamilton Steelhawks became the Hamilton Mustangs for a night to face Dundas, who dressed as the Thunder Bay Bombers, and it was a battle just as good as the movie. An early lead by the Bombers in the first period quickly disappeared when Hamilton answered with a pair of goals. The second period also saw a couple of Mustang goals which was all the offence that was seen for the rest of the game. It was a heroic performance by former NHL goalie Adam Munroe. Munroe saved 28 shots on net and sealed the 4-1 victory for Hamilton. After the game, jerseys were auctioned off with all proceeds going to first responders in…
