Reconciliation at the end of a gun

Costs to push pipelines across Canada just got more expensive. And not just in dollars and cents. The TransMountain pipeline is now expected to hit at least $12.6 billion, a huge increase from three years ago when it was estimated to cost $7.4 billion. And that one comes cheap. Try costing out the Liberal’s decision to push through the Coastal GasLink pipeline in B.C. and you have a toll of not just $6.6 billion to build the 670 kilometre pipeline. Now you have the cost of $300 billion a day in transport costs with downed rail lines, ports, and highways.
