Rez Hoops takes over the Dajoh

By Josh Giles Sports Writer SIX NATIONS OF THE GRAND-It was a competitive weekend at the Dajoh, when Six Nations hosted the annual Rez Hoops tournament where Indigenous communities from across Ontario come and compete to see who has the best basketball program. With the championship rounds on Sunday, it was the best of the best competing for the Rez Hoops crown. The first game to be played was the grades 7 and 8 between the Lil’ Kings, and Six Nations Rising Stars. Both teams were put together just recently, and the Lil’ Kings playing together for the first time in the tournament.
