Reliving the amazing Peewee Girls Inaugural season

By Josh Giles Writer Six Nations field and box lacrosse teams, who were ready to make an impact, are finding themselves in suspended animation after the lacrosse season was put on pause. One of those teams is the Peewee Girls Box Lacrosse team who had an incredible season and in their first year. The team was started, and coached by Matt Martin who decided that his daughter needed a new league to play in. “We started this up because my girl was playing box lacrosse with the boys but they were getting bigger. So I took it upon myself to organize a team and coach them,” Martin said. The crowning moment of the tournament was when Six Nations won the Chicks with Sticks Tournament in Whitby. As if the win…
